Pemberton : July 25 - 27

I was thinking about previous music festivals that I have been to and I wanted to make not of this one. This is the reason for going so far back into to document something that has happened 3 years ago almost to the date. Pemberton was my very fist huge music festival that wasn't electronica based.

This was the camping posse.

The Zeppelin Cover band

At the Dance tent there were tonnes of great DJs but there was a small malfunction at this stage with how many people that were at Pemberton the capacity for this stage was only 2500 and there were 40,000. So when they started playing (Led Zeppelin Cover Band) the fence was broken down and thousands of people rushed the stage.

Here is a list of places that we went to: Ban Phe, Bangkok, Pattaya, Koh Samet, Phuket, Railay, Rayong

Side-note when I wrote this it was my third time in Thailand. I always knew I would be back for more.

Guangzhou, China

Something I found in my old blog that I haven't taken a look at in ages. I almost forgot that it existed...I bring this old post to you now at a much later date.

Well, After spending a week in Hong Kong I have a different perspective on almost everything. The street market sell live animals so that the people know that its fresh. Markets are filled with mecca of people around every corner. The Chinese food here is obviously better!

Its hot and muggy, I dislike the bathrooms here. They are those porcelain holes in the ground, I have made the assumptions that regular folks haven't mastered aiming yet. ew. Yes boys and girls they are gross.  I haven't' gotten much time to write just for the fact that Jen had gone shopping crazy!! Everything is so cheap.

Now I'm in Canton (Guangzhou), its beautiful here. I got a tattoo that I can't wait to go home and show everyone. The Markets here are just as crowded as Hong Kong. Everyone loves to shop here, I have never seen anything like this. You know Whyte Ave at its busiest, well it is nothing like that...

There are restaurants everywhere and food stands, I enjoy eating!! Luckily I walk so much there is no chance of me gaining any weight while I am here.

Man there is really so much to say but not nearly enough time to write about it.

Jen and Karrie`s first trip to China

Okay, so I wanted to post all of my travels so I forgot about this one....I have gone back to those days of yore.

Karrie and I went to Hong Kong for a week, Guangzhou for a week and then off to Thailand for 6 weeks. I won't waste your time trying to list the places that we went or the things we saw and did.

They have a plethora of things to buy everywhere in Hong Kong and China

Okay, This is just hilarious.

Roller coaster at Ocean Park

They sure like their long distance trams.

I do however recommend Ocean Park I had a ton of fun and the shopping was fantastic. We bought two boxes of stuff that we sent home during our trip.
